Happy Birthday Jared

Jared had the day off for his birthday and requested we go to a splash park. So we got all ready and headed down to Payson after naps. When we got there at 3 the pool was full and they weren't letting anyone in. Jacob was not happy to get back in the car but we drove up to Spanish fork and went to a splash park there. He had a blast! Last year when we did this he did not like it but this time he wanted to walk right into the deep end. Jared help is arms and put his feet in the deep end and he wanted him to let go! We'll have to go more often. I haven't hit my 6 week mark yet so Mae and i hung out in the shade. For dinner we grabbed Jacob a kids meal at Wendy's and gave him to our neighbors while we went to Texas Roadhouse. When we got home we spent the rest of the night playing hand and foot.

Happy Birthday Jared

Jared had his birthday this past Sunday. We didn't do much. What with a new baby and mom being here and all. Mom did make him a good dinner of pork roast and mashed potatoes and things and a pecan delight instead of cake. For some reason Jared's not a red cake fan either. So sad. Mom did buy him some new shorts and a T-shirt and i couldn't get him the new iphone or the new ipad... or a new Xbox 360 (i know i know i'm such a lame wife) I got him his very own chest freezer! lol does that make me more lame? He asked for it. Jared has been wanting to buy a box of costco pizza dough so we can make pizza and chicken bakes and other things with this dough. With us sharing an already pretty small freezer a box of dough wasn't going to fly. I'm sorry, to Jared for not making your birthday a huge party but i think you had fun anyway. Happy Valentine's

This was Jared and my 2nd Valentine's of our marriage. Seems like money gets less and less every year. So we kept it simple this Valentine's day and it was perfect. Jared made dinner, a delicious array of costco frozen foods. Delicious chocolate dipped strawberries that Jared actually dipped and decorated himself... at costco.  I set the table, cut out the hearts, lit the candles, put together a romantic playlist and arranged the roses that Jared brought home from costco. I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's full of hearts, roses and chocolate!

Now Jared is doing homework and i think i just might go make some chocolate chip cookies...

Once Upon a Time...

Once upon a time Jared and I were married. And we did celebrate our 1st year anniversary i just never blogged about it so i have to make up all my blogging here and now. Dec 19 was a saturday which was perfect for celebrating but my work party was that night so we actually celebrated Dec 17. Anyway i got home from work and Jared had flowers waiting for me and reservations at PF Chang's. Dinner was lovely and oh so delicous and we planned on going up to see christmas lights at temple square but i saw a waitress that had a knitted head band that i had only seen twice before in the last 3 months. I asked her where she got it and she told me a few places. So I made jared hunt for a knitted head band for me and we didn't make it up to see the lights but i did get my head band!

unfortunitly everyone and their mom has one now. I haven't seen very many green ones so i made a good choice there but not very cool when you where something and you see 10 other girls whereing the exact same thing. Kind of like buying a skirt from Down East Outfitters.

Jared and I also got our wedding album for our anniversary! heres some pictures but its nothing like seeing the real thing so sorry. Its 14 pages. I tried to only take pictures of my favorites but the whole thing is my favorite!

Happy Birthday Party Jared!

First i'll start with the night before. Jared got this wheat grinder from his parents for his birthday. The night before i wanted to try it out. So we did!

lol good times. Then the day of Jared's party i woke up and made him wheat waffles. They were delicious if i do say so myself.

Then we cleaned and got ready for people to come over. We made hot dogs and baked beans and had chips and watermelon.

Eithan enjoyed it and ate lots!

I got Jared a DQ ice cream cake. something my family really enjoys that surprisingly a lot of people haven't had before! Everyone enjoyed it.

After Ethan and Jen and Micheal left to put Ethan to bed and we broke out twister! notice Madelyn doing it on her head lol she makes me laugh.

Happy Birthday Jared! Sorry i wasn't there for the real thing but i hope this made up for it!

Thank you Jen and Ryan and Jen and Micheal for coming we love you! It made it way more fun to have all of you there.

Happy Birthday Jared... sorry its late.

I left Jared all alone on his birthday. He was so kind and let me go to tucson and let me visit my family even though it was over his birthday. One thing he wanted for his birthday was a computer desk for his future desk top computer and to study at when he goes back to school. He's been hunting non stop for a desk and while i was gone he got one that came with a dresser thing that was so useful as a TV stand! so heres the new additions to our second bedroom...

Good job Jared! I think it looks pretty good. So happy birthday Jared! I hope you enjoy and get good use out of this desk.

we are planning on actually celebrating his birthday soon... as soon as he has a night off work.

Wisdom

Jared got his wisdom TOOTH out today. Yeah thats right he only had one! He's so lucky. When he set up the appointment they told him it might take a little over an hour. we went in today at noon and they x-rayed him and i brought a book so i was all ready to sit there for an hour. They brought him back and we talked to the doctor for a bit and he told us that his tooth was just gonna pop right out so it might take 2 min. (his tooth was already grown in.) so i sat in the room while they put an IV and knocked him out. i went out to the waiting room. 1o min later he was done and i went into the room and they wheeled him out to the car and i took him home. The whole time he was slurring words and not completing sentences. He's a very cute drugged up person. Sorry there is no pictures and he probably won't swell so i can't embarrass him with one of those pictures. Welp just wanted to share this story!

I bought this sweater And the converse for Jared for Christmas and he bought the pants for himself. i LOVE it all together! what a cutie!

I take care of my baby

Jared had a head ache this Sunday and was complaining about it... a lot. i told him to go lay down and be quite and i would get him something cold for his eyes along with some pain killers. he did and it was really cute.

He did it again!

I guess i should enjoy this. Who knows how long he'll keep this up!

I Love Him

These were on my desk when i got home from work the other day.

Whenever i would talk about having a boyfriend.. in this case fiance.. i always wanted him to bring me flowers all the time. I'm pretty much the luckiest girl alive.
