Jen is About to POP!

I got to throw Jen a baby shower (on moms dime of course) I might have gone a little overboard but I loved it and it turned out really cute!
The theme was "She's about to POP!" so we had POPtart POPs, POP em's, Cake POPs, POPcorn and soda POP.

Jen and mom made these tissue paper balls and the cute banners. Sorry Jen for the picture with your eyes closed.

Michael was going to take the boys somewhere but two people brought their kids so they had their own party.

Jen got lots of cute things

Alayna graduated so Lori and Emily were in town! perfect timing! they got to come too. PS congratulations on graduating Alayna! and I'm pretty sure today was Emily's birthday. I should have given her the extra lollipop. Sorry Emily and happy birthday!

And here we are pregnant sisters! Can't wait to have these babies and get them together a lot. Also notice the cute balloon arrangement behind us. So fun! Love you Jen! Congratulations on having a baby girl and thanks for letting me plan your shower!

Happy Easter!

For Easter this year we decided not to do baskets because Jacob wouldn't know the difference and he doesn't eat candy or blow bubbles yet. We did do an egg hunt though. I got about 20 eggs and filled them with bunny shaped crackers. We did our hunt on Saturday.

I have two treats that are make Easter Easter for me. Sour starburst jelly beans and a chocolate bunny. I went to See's Candy Friday to pick one up and got two eggs too that I wasn't planning on getting. Oh well. They are yummy.

P.S. Spring is here in Utah. All the trees are blooming. These white ones unfortunately don't smell very good though.

We have started grilling again. We grilled up some chicken to have chicken alfredo french bread pizzas last night. Jacob likes to help daddy and in the process he has learned to say hot because we are always warning him that the bbq is hot.

Our stake conference was today. I thought that was kinda weird but during our stake presidents talk he mentioned that we are so lucky because we have had our stake conference on Easter for the past 4 years. We got home at 12 and took some pictures and put Jacob down. We are headed to Jared's brothers house to have dinner with family tonight. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

To Catch Up...

We have been without a computer for awhile. Mom was yelling at me to blog but I couldn't! So here it goes. A few things to catch up on. Its been really nice in Utah until Sunday and then it got cold again but while it was nice out we went to the park and had a picnic and we even had our first BBQ of the season! It was so yummy and it was so nice to be outside. Jacob loves it. Next time we move we need a fenced in backyard for him to run around in.

We took these 3D glasses home from when we saw lion king in 3D. Jacob every once in awhile rediscovers them. This time he found them he liked to put them on himself but can't really get it so he gets super frustrated and throws a fit. But he's pretty cute with them when he isn't frustrated.

Jacob has been getting some molars in and has not been sleeping very well and hasn't been the happiest baby on the block. One day he woke up particularly early and at lunch he was falling asleep at the table.

So now its time for Easter! I made these little guys yesterday to make my house a little more Eastery.

I am 35 weeks today. We had a scare with her being breech but my midwives told me what I could do to flip her and gave me a website that had more ideas. I did most of them and apparently it worked. Or I did all this crazy stuff and she just flipped on her own. I can't believe i'm so close. After Easter is my baby shower, then I'm throwing one for Jen, then Mom comes soon and then I'll have a baby! I'm not going to lie I'm nervous for  labor. Last time I was induced and i got the epidural pretty early on so I don't even remember what contractions feel like. I'm sure all will go well but I can't think about it too much or I start to freak out a little inside.
