Random Fun

Here's a few videos. We don't have a real video camera. Just my normal camera that takes videos but I'm trying to take more videos so we have some kind of home videos to show my kids when they grow up.

I love watching them become buddies. I hope it sticks.

Trip to Idaho

We survived our road trip to Idaho! The kids and I went and visited our family up there. It was a crazy yet very good week. Jacob had so much fun with his boy cousins. Stella on the other hand... the little girl in the first picture is about 6 months younger then Jacob and he did not like her much. Ben was the same way with Jacob when they first started hanging out but they got used to each other. We only had a week with Stella and the only progress we made was Stella started to fight back lol. We didn't do too much but we did play in their back yard a lot which is a very nice backyard and we had family movie night and made cookies. Anna is an amazing photographer so she took pictures of Mae and me. When I get the cd I'll post some. We had so much fun. We love you Marshall's! We did also get to see Nicole for a bit too which was nice. We love you too Mclaughlin's!

Jacob loved the trampoline and his cousin Grant. Grant would run around with him and say things like "Come on buddy!" and "Here buddy!" lol it made me laugh every time.

Not much to say

I haven't blogged in awhile because we haven't done much but here's a few random things that have been happening. 

Our first apple from our tree. It had ants in it.

I took the covers off the couches and Jacob thought it was so fun

Mae got a new toy. Her cousin has one and she loves it. I tried looking for the same one but I guess they don't make it anymore. I did find someone selling it on KSL but it was way up north.

I don't know if i told this story on my blog but I have started doing the couch to 5k program. So I was running one day and went on a trail I wasn't familiar with. Jared was walking behind me with the kids. All of the sudden Jared is running past me saying "there's mosquitoes everywhere! I'm out of here!" I look down and there were in fact mosquitoes everywhere. Flying all around and about six on each of my legs. I start swatting and sprinting away. The sprinting didn't last long because i;m not a runner so I had to keep to just keep swatting. This was the results. 

Hogle Zoo

First off Mae turned 3 months! She is finally starting to do things worth mentioning so

She has found her hands and loves to chew on them and look at them

She is talking so much and smiles all the time!

She loves clean bums and baths

Most of all she loves her brother

We went to the zoo today! It was a crazy start. We were late and got lost. Jacob fell asleep and when we woke him up to get out of the car he started crying really bad then Mae started. Things calmed down though and we enjoyed the long hot day.

Jared came up with this Idea to show Jacob little animals of the animals we were looking at so he could make a connection and be more interested in the animals.

The new exhibit was amazing Jacob just loved being with all those kids!
